*NSYNC v. Backstreet Boys: Who Is The Best Boyband Of All Time

NSYNC v Backstreet Boys

Sometimes the best thing you can do is to turn off the news, and lose yourself in one of the most polarizing debates of our time: *NSYNC v. Backstreet Boys. Obviously there are other, more relevant things going on in the world, but deciding which boy band reins supreme is actually a lot easier, and a lot more fun, than trying to figure out exactly what the hell is up with the current US administration.

NSYNC v. Backstreet Boys

The *NSYNC v. Backstreet Boys feud has been raging for ages; or at least since the early 90s when both bands appeared on the scene. From the start you were either Team *NSYNC or Team BSB, and may the pop gods have mercy on your fandom-loving soul if you were torn between the two. Alliances were formed and friendships savagely ripped apart depending on what side you supported in this fierce 90s debate.

[Ed. Note: Don’t y’all miss it when the biggest thing we had to fight about was which team of five white dudes you liked the most? The current political climate certainly does give you perspective – and a healthy does of nostalgia.]

Our friend (well, hopefully he’s still our friend after he sees our response video) Rossko ignited this deeply personal and at times brutal debate with a Facebook status posted earlier this month. A whirlwind of 78 comments later, he posted a truly epic video, discussing his boy band loyalties.

Give Ross’ *NSYNC v. Backstreet Boys video a watch at the link below, and then come back to check out our reply:

[Ed. Note: Seriously, watch that video. It’s awesome. We’ll wait.]

We couldn’t just not respond, so in true Sirens fashion, we worked together to prepare a less epic, but more accurate response.

As you may guess, we don’t exactly see eye-to-eye with Rossko over at PSGamer/FingerGuns on this particular issue. [Ed. Note: It’s cool, we still adore him.] We’d love to know where you fall on this incredibly important, yet somehow also completely irrelevant, *NSYNC v. Backstreet Boys debate. Read more.
