your voice on council

Why I'm Running

I want to be your voice on council, to ensure that your concerns are heard and that your views are represented.

As a single mom and renter, I know what it’s like to feel unheard and unrepresented. I’ve lived in Portsmouth for nearly seven years and am passionate about making a difference – about making sure that YOUR concerns are brought to Council, that YOUR interests are represented, and that YOUR thoughts are heard – not just my own.

Through my work as a law clerk, comedian, and server in the City, I sympathize with the plight of small business owners, especially those in our district, who are working hard to ensure their businesses can continue serve our amazing District.

I’ve also had lived experience with housing insecurity, and can also sympathize with the struggles of those who are experiencing poverty, who rely on public transit, and those renters who long for homeownership.

These unique perspectives have given me the drive to ensure that our District, and our City as a whole, is a safe, welcoming and happy place for ALL Kingstonians.

Why Voting Municipally Matters

Municipal politics matter. A lot. Everything, from how much you pay in property taxes, to when the pothole in front of your home gets fixed, to which buildings get built where, is a direct result of how you vote in this election.
